Guest Rooms

The dining room floor is an old stone floor.

There are thirteen stairs up to the first floor Art Studio with a handrail on the left.

The sitting room is reached via six stairs with handrail on the left and a half landing with a further two stairs.

Coloured drinking glasses are available upon request.

Large print menus and bedroom browsers may be supplied upon request.

A selection of audio CD books is available within the dining room along with a selection of DVDs.

Guide Dogs

We would welcome guide dogs, but no other dogs due to the livestock surrounding us.

Dietary Issues

We would always endeavour to cater for any specific dietary needs providing they are discussed beforehand, in order that we may have adequate supplies.  We do cater for vegetarians.

Allergies

We do use nuts in the kitchen.

The duvets and pillows are down; synthetic filling bedding is available on request.

Harrop Fold Farm is a working farm and there are beef cattle, calves, hens, ponies, a dog and a cat around the farm.  The dog and cat do come into the accommodation on occasion although it is not encouraged.

Smoking

Harrop Fold Farm is a non-smoking home.

Accessibility Statement – Mellow Brook Cottage

We welcome everyone here to Mellow Brook Cottage; please inform us of any special requirements upon booking.

There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the kitchen.

Smoke alarms are fitted.

Arrival

Parking is available outside Mellow Brook Cottage; there is one step into the building.

Luggage assistance is available.

Bedrooms – First Floor

Both bedrooms and bathrooms have wooden floors.

A non-slip bathmat is available upon request.

Each bedroom has main lighting controllable from the door and there are bedside lamps on each side of the bed.

Heating is thermostatically controlled and adjustable in all guest rooms.

Ground Floor

Guests are provided with a door key.

Televisions & Freeview boxes are remote controlled.
